This week we started with daily activities with children. Every day, from 2pm to 7pm, we join the afterschool programme, where we help to take care of the kids and to entertain them with various fun and educational games.

IAC & crianças
On 14.5.2010 we hade again workshop with childrens. This time we played Brainstorming games and after we did the "fashion show" :) Me and Taja were Pancake!

Environment workshop
On 23 of April we have prepared a workshop DECOUPAGE with the IAC (Instituto de apoio a Crianca) organization. The topic was the environment and waste separation.

Colouring Amadora's neighbourhoods
International youth exchange "Colouring Amadora's neighbourhoods"
The youth exchange explored the reality of the relocated and degraded neighbourhoods of Amadora, which is the largest city in Portugal by population. It forms a conurbation with the Portuguese capital Lisbon and both cities share the same subway, bus and train network. It is also a major residential suburb of the capital and the landscape is dominated by large apartment blocks and some industry. Amadora is also home to a big community of African immigrants, mostly from Angola and Cape Verde. Although major rehabilitation plans have been started, Amadora is still regarded as a city with a crime rate higher than the national average and notorious for its traffic jams.
